If you're lookiging for such a pure commercial stretegy, here's the one!!
The Idea :
If you ever heard the econimic point of view that since nobody could produce all of the resource on their own, the trading system occure. However, in this FO, you can really produce all of those resources you need, regardless you're playing with commercial strategy or military strategy. But, well, with some (high) cost of skill and building development, esp. in the mid and late game.
Fortunatelly, all of the resource are always available in the player 2 player market. Hence, why don't we think about focusing on only 1 resource, let other players do other resources, then trade. THat'd save you more than 300k gold and 1000 skill pionts of investment on skill deverlopment. (For example, to upgrade "craft" skill from lv.9 to lv.10, you need 322 skill points and 64,537 gold. , 65K gold just for only 1 skill, man!!!!!)
Then? Why Crystal? :
There're several logical reasons I choose crystal for the flagship resource of this strategy, even though we can still adapting this strategy using with other resources.
1. Even though the crystal town with 8 refinaries can produce only half of the wood or metal town with 8 mining/foresting centers at the same level, to produce the proton power sail used only 1/2 amount of crystal compared with the wood needed for the plywood frame. The Empire's price of these 2 products are also the same. Hence, there's no dis advantage about this issue on choosing resource.
2. The market price (Player to player's price) of the crystal and its product are always above than others!!! At dawn server right now, 6th of June, the market price of proton power sail is 132 G 628 S, while the price of plywood frame is 113 G 947 S.
3. The best defensive cannon for your town is charged proton emplacement .... they need only crystal as raw material!!!
So,how could I get other resources? :
To get other resources or parts, you can trade those with other players. Sound easy,eh? Yes, it's that easy. And don't worry, since the crystal and crystal's product have higher market price than others, you always have profit on trading those resources or parts.
Ok, it sound good now, how to do?
1. As other commercial strategies, it's highly recommended for you to keep expanding your city. However, I suggest you should balance your investment between creating the 9th town, which will cost you 51,200 gold and 384 skill point for lv.8 "Dominance" skill, with upgrading all of your town's castle to lv.3, which will cost you 16,000 gold and 32,000 sand stones. Please keep it in your mind that, at around lv 12 or 13 of resource buildings can double your resource production compared with the lv.9 ones.
2.Before any further investment in any towns' resource buildong. (The buildings outside the town) KEEP TERRAFORM THEM UNTIL YOU GET THE FIELD YOU WANT. At least 6-7 deserts then you can stop terraforming the town. It's really worthful to keep terraforming, since the investment need in upgrading high level resource building is damnly expensive, for example, to get lv 14 crystal workshop (from lv.13), you need 11,905 gold along with 11,905 sand stones and to upograde each refinaries from lv.13 to lv.14, you need 4,762 gold and 3,968 sand stones. Without good town terraforming, you may have to double these investment, since you have to build both smelthing workshop and crystal workshop, for example.
3. Regarding to the building development, you need only 1 town for building the institution, while you can build the airship factories at other towns. Every town of yours also need lv.5 shipyard for construct the defensive cannon. Finally…keep maxing the level of resource building (Crystal workshops and refinaries) and Energy workshop.
4. You also need 1 town for building 'Bright Shrine' and 'Tavern', keep upgrading Bright Shrine and then your tavern will show you the hero that get really high bright attribute. (Well, it doesn’t affect you that much; 1 point of hero’s attribute will increase your production rate by 0.2%)
5. For the skill allocation, you may find the skills you need for each intuition below,
a. Natural institution, just focus only on 2 skills, Extraction and Magic Transfer. Try get Magic transfer lv.3 first for producing the proton power sail, this product got such a high market price. You may invest some in Dynamics, if you find yourself having problem with production speed. BUT JUST LEAVE EXTRACTION, you don’t need it. You can reach this skill only at high level, which means you will create several towns already and have just not more than 2 or 3 towns for this skill to show its effect.
b. Cultural institution, you need only dominance and ambition here in order to expanding your towns and make sure that every town have their own hero for archon.
c. Military institution, at least, get lv.3 accuracy. Others skill is depending on you on which airship you want to build. My recommendation is that you should focus on heavy airship, they’re really useful.
6. DON”T FORGET TO LAVY YOUR TAX EVERYDAY.
7. Leveling up. Keep selling things and get to Lv.2 ASAP. The player lv.2 (NOT LV.2 CASTLE) can be able to open 3 free treasure boxes per day. After that you reach lv.2, you may keep your resource and part produced and wait until the market price get high and sell all of them at once, or you may sell some if you really need money at that time. DON’T RUCH TO LV.3 (Player’s level) BECAUSE THE LV.3 PLAYER WON’T RECEIVE THE SAND STONE ON EVERYDAY’s TAX ….. and this will cause you such a big problem for sure!
8. Joining a strong alliance or a good alliance nearby, for army to protect your town. [Well, you may build the army on your own and defend your town by yourself, don’t forget that you got money …. And that’s everything here )
9. You may creating other resource’s town, such as wood and metal, when you reach really really really stable situation, which means you’re really rich and got nothing to do and nearly can produce the lv.2 airship. The drawback of this strategy is, the lv.2 parts are usually not available in the market for you to buy.
10. Finally, if you have spare money and sand stones, you may build and upgrade all other building, even though you don’t really need them. It’s only for to increasing your population, which will increase the tax receive in each day.
That's it!, Now just go and get your money!!!!
